One of days we spent on top of a mountain! Heavenly is a ski resort that has all kinds of activities up on the mountain during the summer months. We took the gondola up and then the big kids did the ropes course, the climbing wall, and the zipline! I was very proud of our cautious kid getting out there and trying all the activities (and doing them well!) and Liesl was game for everything as long as she was with her big brother. Elias will be ALL over those activities in a few years. I can see him scaling the climbing wall in record time; he's an excellent climber!We had a picnic lunch up there as well and played on the play set. It was a really fun day!
We "hiked" Taylor Creek one morning which we do every trip. It's actually just a nature walk with a one mile boardwalk loop. The kids love this walk because we always see fish and pretty flowers.
