{20 Weeks}

I feel like the last few bump pics in dresses haven't really shown the full effect of the growing bump, so this week I went with a more fitted outfit. And boom! There's the belly!

How Far Along: 20 Weeks, 5 days!

Woohoo, over halfway!!

Size of baby: Baby is the size of a banana and now being measured head to toe instead of head to rump.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +7, almost 8!

Yikes, lots of growing this week! We're going to say it's because I finally started working out and lifting weights again this week and not because of the handfuls of dark chocolate peanut M&M's I had last night, mmmkay?? :)

Maternity Clothes: Still a mix, but more maternity that regular except in dresses.

Gender: Girl for sure - Miss Leisl Penelope! We got a GOOD confirmation at our Ultrasound on Tuesday. She REALLY wanted us to know! :)

Movement: Yes, I have started feeling her at random times all throughout the day. It's my favorite part of pregnancy!

Sleep: Pretty good lately!

What I miss: Shopping for normal swimsuits, haha. Thank you all for your feedback though, y'all are awesome!

Cravings: Apples and peanut butter this week. So yum.

Best Moment This Week: Oh, too many things! Getting to watch our sweet girl for a good 20-30 minutes at our anatomy scan and getting a 100% confirmation on her gender were pretty great. The BEST though would have to be that Will started being able to feel her this week! At night he will rest his hand on my stomach and she has been kicking him like crazy!

And just for fun:

There she grows!

Calling All Summer Pregos!

**Thank you all for the sweet comments on Liesl's name! We just love it, and I can't wait to get my monogram on!**

So this is my first time being pregnant in the summer which means it's my first time needing to buy...dun dun dun...maternity swimsuits! And I need help!

Between our neighborhood pool, my parent's pool, and just having a toddler (duh), I know we will be spending a lot of time in the water this summer. I think I can get away with only 2 maternity swimsuits, but I'm having trouble finding good options!

These are a few I've found that look okay so far...if you have ever bought swimsuits from any of these places, please let me know how you felt about them because most maternity swimsuits seem to be online only. I don't mind buying a handful and then returning the ones I don't like, but it's nice to hear from others first :) OR if you have any more suggestions on where to look, hit me with them please!

From Old Navy:

A classic black one piece for the days I feel like I look like look like an elephant.

Also Old Navy:

This one's a little bold, but still fun!

This one is my favorite!

From Asos:

Love this one too! It comes in this coral color or black.

I will probably order a couple of these to try out, but would like to see some more options. I looked for an hour yesterday and this was all I came up with - maternity swimsuits are hard! I also checked out Target and didn't see anything I liked and the Gap, but apparently they don't sell maternity swimsuits? Or at least I never found any on their site.

Any other suggestions or favorite places you have bought maternity swimsuits in the past?!

Meet Miss...

pronounced: Lee-zul :)

We had our anatomy ultrasound today, and little miss Liesl is looking fabulous! I will go over everything with my doctor at our next appointment, but she was measuring right on track and looked absolutely adorable!

Hiking & High Heels!

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a fun weekend! We sure did - and no, I didn't go hiking in high heels! But I did go hiking and wear high heel (wedges) which are both pretty unusual for me!

Friday night we got dressed up and went out to dinner for our friend Brettni's 30th birthday!

Amanda and I put together some fun table decorations and got some hot pink cupcakes for the birthday girl! We stayed out LATE for us (11pm, what what!), but we had a blast!

The next morning we were up at 5:30am and headed out for our family camping trip! Will has been bugging me about going camping since we got married, and I have always shot him down. I don't know if it's the baby coming and the fact that I know our time with just Liam is slowly closing in (I suspect that has everything to do with it), but all of a sudden I felt the need to do something special with just us three and camping popped into my head. I'm blaming the crazy hormones and only having 4 more months being a boy only mom. I texted Will at work and threw out the idea, and an hour later he had reservations made! I think he was pretty shocked and decided to jump on it before I changed my mind, ha!

Our little campsite. I know NOTHING about camping, but the husband is an eagle scout who grew up camping with his family every summer and canoeing hundreds of miles in Canada and camping out along the way - who does that for FUN!?? Just kidding :)

So he talked me through it and in 15 minutes, we had pitched the tent! I was pretty proud of myself!

We headed out for a hike around the lake before lunch. Will "thought" it was just a short 1 mile hike that would be fun and leisurely. And then somehow it turned into a 2.5 mile hike! Now I'm not a sissy, 2.5 miles is not that a big of a deal to me normally, but when you're 5 months pregnant and have to pee about 30 minutes in, it turns into a REALLY long hike! We made it through though, and it was really pretty. We camped in east Texas and I can never get sick of the pine trees. It smells so good out there!

After our hike, we headed back to the tent for lunch and nap time. Liam did great and slept for nearly 2 hours! Will and I took that time to sit and do nothing. I read People. It was glorious. And we discussed baby girl's name. I think we've settled on a full name! I'm just trying it on a little longer before I share!

After Liam's nap, we headed down to the lake again to just walk around. There was a playground and a dock for fishing...and then Liam spotted the paddle boats. He was dying to get on one so of course, we obliged! We all loved it, even Will who did most of the work :)

Helping Daddy steer!

We spent the rest of the afternoon letting Liam run and roam around the park. I definitely overpacked when it came to toys. Reminder to myself: Boys like dirt and sticks and rocks.

A swing with a view!

Liam helped Will get the fire started for dinner. We had roasted hot dogs and corn, and then s'mores for dessert of course!

Just being silly!

Roasting marshmallows! Liam is eating one here and would NOT put it down for a picture!

We kept Liam up much later then normal so he could see the stars. It was pretty cloudy so we couldn't see as much as we'd hoped for, but Liam didn't seem to mind. When they first came out, I asked Liam if he could see them, and he looked up at the sky and stared for a minute. Then all of a sudden he gasped and started pointing everywhere saying "star! star!" And he loooves the moon so he pointed it out about a million times and kept telling it night-night! He was so funny to watch!

Bedtime was only so-so. Liam went to sleep really easily because it was so late, but he woke up in the middle of the night and flipped out because he didn't know where he was. We were right there sleeping on either side of him, but he was just so confused and it scared him to death! Will was able to rock him to sleep after a little while, but I barely slept the rest of the night checking on him. I will say though that sleeping outside wasn't that bad, and I was actually pretty comfy in my sleeping bag! I also had an inflatable mat underneath it, and Liam had a foam mat under his. Will was the only one that really "roughed it" and slept directly on the ground. Liam woke up again a little before 6 and wasn't going back to sleep so that was that. Will was really sweet though and took care of him while he started the fire so I could sleep another hour! By the time I got up, breakfast was about to go on and Liam was sitting in a lawn chair happily watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the ipad. So it wasn't terrible, but I think we've decided to wait until next summer to try an entire weekend away. (Baby girl will have to stay with the grandparents for that one!)

After breakfast we started packing up to head home. Will was folding up the tent and laid down on it to flatten it out. Liam thought that looked like so much fun so he jumped on and was rolling around on it, so Will just packed him up in it. We were dying laughing, and Liam thought he was being so funny!

We stopped for a quick picture by the sign and then said goodbye to east Texas! It was a fun experience with my two outdoorsy boys!

P.S. I made this scavenger hunt for Liam to do. I just printed it out and taped it onto a paper bag for him to collect all the items in. Well, he could have cared less! Every time he would find an item, he would just pick it up and throw it. Or if I got him to actually put it in the bag, he dumped it all back out about 2 minutes later. SO if anyone else's child might use it, here it is! Just right click, save, and print. It doesn't have to be for camping, I chose easy stuff that can be found at pretty much any park - or maybe even your own backyard!

{19 Weeks}

How Far Along: 19 Weeks, 5 days!

I can't believe I will reach the halfway point on Sunday, this pregnancy is flying by. Hopefully I'll be a little more productive during the second half besides just shopping for clothes and bows :)

Size of baby: Baby is the size of a large heirloom tomato.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +5

Maternity Clothes: A mix of both. I've been wearing a lot of maternity tanks and regular yoga pants around the house. Okay, and around town some. Okay, pretty much all day everyday.

Gender: Girl! Our anatomy ultrasound is next Tuesday, and I'm getting anxious for a confirmation :)

Movement: Yep! Starting to feel her more throughout the day, but still mostly at night.

Sleep: Pretty good lately!

What I miss: Not much right now, things are good!

Cravings: Pickles have been my go-to snack this week. And just today my pregnancy tracker said that pickles are a pregnancy food you should indulge in - go me!

Best Moment This Week: Finding out more and more friends are pregnant! I can't say who yet, but I'm so excited baby girl already has some built in friends (in the making)!

Yo Gabba Gabba 2nd Birthday Party: The Party!

Today is all about the par-tay!

Mama Muno and Mama Brobee! Hey, at least you can't say we don't know how to properly exhaust a theme! :)

The Brobee family (of four!)

The Muno family!

About an hour into the party we did cupcakes. The boys were SO concerned as to why the bounce house was being deflated and everyone was crowding around them!

As soon as everyone started singing, this one got a little overwhelmed and out came the pout.

But then he saw the cupcake headed his way and immediately changed his tune! Phew!

Even though we had been practicing, I still had to help him blow out the candle. He tends to blow up and get his bangs instead of out to get the flame, lol.

"I'll take the cupcake, hold the frosting!"

There were so many cameras going off, the flashes got a little out of control! I kind of felt like I should be wearing sunglasses like the celebs :)

The Muno family, paparazzi style!

I LOVE Liam's big happy smile in this picture, but of course we all happen to be looking at different cameras!

-------

And the rest are just random fun pictures from the party in no particular order!

I forgot to mention the backyard. The day was beautiful so we had a lot of activities out there too!

After the party my parents took Liam home for a nap while we cleaned up and brought a few carloads of chairs, kiddie tables, dishes, etc. back home.

A few hours later Liam was up and ready for presents! We had so many sweet friends and family members that spoiled him rotten. I'm still trying to find space for it all!

I took a mental break the next few days and we did as close to nothing as possible. Now things are starting to pick back up. Example: We are going CAMPING this weekend. And it was my idea! WHAT!?!? I think I've officially crossed over to the dark side boy-mom side! Baby girl needs to hurry up and put some pink back into my life :)
