Liam Briggs, you are one month old!
(As of yesterday. I'm a day late.)
What are you up to??
You are eating about every 3 hours during the day and every 3-4 hours at night. Although last night you slept for 5 hours straight - it was glorious!
You are still wearing newborn diapers, but we're on our last box and are going to try out 1's next.

You wear newborn clothes mostly BUT I put you in a 0-3 outfit two days ago and it didn't look completely ridiculous. You're just so long and lean you have a hard time filling them out.
You can talk! Ha. You never made much noise before besides crying, but now you say "ooh" "aaa" and "uuh" all the time! You also do this squeaky monkey noise thing too when you're unhappy. And you grunt. And you're a loud eater - smacking and gulping the whole time.

Baths are getting better. You don't love them but you tolerate them as long as you can suck on your hands. You enjoy the lotion after - it makes you sleepy.
You like to suck on your hands/fingers and sometimes just your thumb. You also like your paci, but tend to spit it out when you're tired of it.
You were cracking your Yaya up yesterday with your fussiness. When we were taking 1 month photos you would get SO mad, but as soon as I would pick you up you immediately calmed down. Over and over again like a broken record. Luckily we got a few good shots!
You hate being strapped into your car seat. You do this Frankenstein thing with your arms where you completely stiffen them up so we can't get them through the straps. It's super annoying but I love you anyway :)
We take you out a lot, but I don't take you out much on my own yet. I have this fear that I'm going to have a cart full of groceries or something and you're going to completely melt down and I won't know what to do. I usually wait until I have Yaya or Daddy to help me.
You have a lot of nicknames - Li-li (the most popular), Briggsy, little pirate, booger, bubbie (I have no idea why).
We celebrated with a little baby bundt cake!
Aaand...we're done!
Happy One Month baby boy!
