Thanksgiving Break Part 2!

Elias turned 3 months old on Thanksgiving day, so we took his monthly pictures the day before. We have had so much fun with these! Here's a little behind the scenes -- baby set up on the floor, mama on a stool, and daddy just out of the frame making silly faces to get the smiles.

What is that contraption in my face?!

Oh, it's just mom!

This year we hosted our first Thanksgiving! We hosted lunch for Will's side and it was really fun! Will successfully cooked his first turkey and everyone pitched in bringing sides and desserts. While hosting a holiday of course has prep work to be done, it was actually a nice slow morning letting the kids watch the parade in their pjs while we got everything ready.

Liam helped me by writing everyone's names on the place settings. He sounded them all out himself and did a great job.

I made a turkey cheese ball app!

We took some pictures of the kids in their Thanksgiving outfits on the front porch. First off, kisses for baby brudder.

We had some happy, hungry turkeys!

After lunch we loaded up and headed to my aunt and uncles house for Thanksgiving dinner. We all watched the Cowboys WIN and ate too much good food, for the second time!

Liam and Liesl stayed with my parents for a couple days after Thanksgiving. Will, Elias, and I did a little black Friday shopping, but mostly just hung out at home and I took zero pictures.

We picked the kids up Saturday night and checked out the lights in downtown Grapevine. It was chilly so we didn't stay too long, but they always decorate Main Street so cute we have to go look!

Sunday morning, Burrito and Churro showed up! They brought breakfast and goodies for the kids as usual, this year it was Christmas pjs and slippers. More to come on this fun morning!

We got dressed up for church...

And then came right back home and got straight back in our pjs to decorate the tree. LOTS more to come with that!

Even though it was 9 days off with Will and Liam, it flew by. Now we are counting down the days until Christmas break, but we also have a lot of fun things planned in between!
