The crazy busy holidays have officially begun! This past week/weekend was a whirlwind!
This week we:
- Made some adorable DIY Christmas ornaments! (Separate post on that)
- Went to a book exchange & craft playdate!
- Finished all the party prep for our sunday school Christmas party with friends!
- Went to one of our play group's Christmas parties and met Santa! (Separate post on that)
- I hosted a table at my church for the Women's Christmas Dinner for my sunday school class ladies!
-And finally spent a day crafting and hanging out at my parent's house!
And this weekend we:
Spent Friday evening with my parents in downtown Grapevine (AKA "The Christmas Capital of Texas!") eating, dancing, and checking out all the lights and displays!
All the little shops and restaurants were decked out!
They had a giant Christmas tree and gazebo that was blasting Christmas music and had all their lights flashing. Liam spent a lot of the night in the gazebo getting his groove on!

Saturday we were up bright and early to get all our errands run so we could get ready to party it up with our sunday school class. I'm on the fellowship committee so we went early to help get everything set up.
The food and games were great, but the best part of the night was the photo booth by far! Everyone loved the props and we got some great shots of all the couples!
Toward the end of the party some of us brought in our kiddos for family pictures. They were hilarious!

Sunday was church and lunch with Will's parents as usual, and then we spent the rest of the day doing NOTHING! Liam took a long nap, and then we lounged on the couch watching his fave, Yo Gabba Gabba, or "Babba Babba" as he calls it.
As busy as the days seem, I wouldn't change the memories made for anything! Now we are gearing up for another busy (but fun!) week!
We've been so busy too! I guess it's just that time of year. Love the dancing video...him and G would have a good time on the dance floor!
ReplyDeleteOh I am so jealous of all of the fun Christmas activities! It looks like you guys have been having a ball! Your Christmas table turned out beautifully! And the photobooth pictures are the best. You need to make the one of Liam into an ornament or something. It's just too cute!
